A 38-year-old lab director at Apex Diagnostics in Jamaica was gunned down on Monday night in what appears to be a hit on her life.
According to Loop News, at around 8:45pm, a 35-year-old doctor was securing his business place when a silver AD wagon pulled up.
Siobhan Rogers was sitting in the front passenger seat at the time.
A man wearing a black bandanna over his face approached the vehicle and fired several shots at Rogers.
The doctor returned a short while later and observed Rogers slumped over in her seat.
He rushed her to Jamaica’s Eric Williams Medical Sciences Centre. However, she was pronounced dead at 9:13pm.
Two spent 40 calibre rounds and one live 40 calibre round were found at the scene by crime scene investigators.
Jamaican police are currently searching for a motive.
