Mr. Vegas does not consider Kartel’s repealed conviction a victory as he has served 13 years behind bars for the alleged murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams.

Besides the life-threatening setbacks that the Gaza Empire founder has faced during his incarceration, Mr. Vegas is of the belief that he would not be the same person he was years ago.

‘…Your whole mental status change when yuh inna lockdown so many years; when you’re confined to walls for so many years… Mi nuh matter how bad a man is…how brave, bold, whatever, yuh cya be the same,” Said The Bruk it down Singjay.

Mr. Vegas states that Kartel’s attorney and his team should ‘tone it down’ instead of antagonizing an ego because going up against Jamaica’s justice system would not be an easy win.

According to DanceHallMag.com, Vegas says the prosecution, headed by Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn, is in a favorable position as they were able to secure the initial conviction.

Kartel has been in lock-up since 2011, with a conviction handed down in 2014 for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, whose body is yet to be found.
