Toronto rapper Drake has called podcaster Joe Budden a failure after he criticized he recently released album “For All The Dogs”.

Budden in his criticism said that Drake was making music for children and called on the near 40 year old rapper to stop hanging with younger people so that his music can improve. He used J Cole as an example of what Drake should aspire to be at this stage of his career.

Drake in response to this said:

“@joebudden you have failed at music. You left it behind to do what you are doing in this clip cause this is what actually pays your bills. For any artist watching this just remember you are watching a failure give their opinion on his idea of a recipe for success… a quitter give their opinion on how to achieve longevity…”

Drake also offered advice to artists, saying they should do what they feel is right, regardless of what others think.

After a summer of teasing, various delays, dozens of arena concerts and eventually another No. 1 single, Drake released “For All The Dogs” on Friday morning, ahead of a tour-ending, two-night run of shows in his hometown, Toronto.
