Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson and Renee Zellweger will all be back in the upcoming movie Bridget Jones: Mad about the Boy.

The title of the movie comes from the latest Bridget Jones book, which was released in 2013 and is scheduled for release on the day of romance in 2025.

After the passing of Mark Darcy, played by Collin Firth in the previous movies, readers will rejoin Bridget in her 50s, now a widow and mother of two.

Though the author of the paperback version of the movie, Helen Fielding, wrote the script, the production company has not revealed how closely the new movie will adhere to Fielding’s plot.

Following the books release, Fielding told BBC News that she had written Mad about the Boy in secret to avoid the pressure of having to live up to the standards of the first book.
