Barbados’ Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic is not at all impressed with the memes and comments circulating on social media about the quality of service at Harrison Point.
During a press briefing on Saturday, Bostic described the virtual attack on the staff at Harrison Point as “toxic, disgusting and hurtful,” and called on those responsible to put an end to it.
Bostic said for every one negative comment making the rounds on social media about the quality of service at Harrison Point, there are approximately 10 to 15 emails from persons locally and abroad speaking highly about the quality and service at the facility.
Barbados’ Minister of Health said that the professionals who made the brave decision from the start of the pandemic in 2020 to go on the front line and manage the isolation facilities deserve nothing but respect for their dedication and service.
