Renowned actor Robert De Niro has welcomed his 7th child at the age of 79.
Although news of the actor’s new baby stunned many fans, the actor says he wasn’t shocked by his seventh child’s arrival.
At the premiere of “About My Father” on Tuesday night, De Niro was asked if he was surprised to become a dad again at the age of 79. He flatly replied with a “no.”
In fact, De Niro said the pregnancy was “planned.”
The Oscar-winner first shared the news on Monday in an interview with ET Canada to promote his new film, aptly named “About My Father.”
Robert De Niro revered as one of the greatest actors of all time is known for his collaborations with film director, producer and screenwriter Martin Scorsese, such as Goodfellas, Casino, Taxi Driver and The Irishman and more.
He has never retired from acting, and continues to work regularly in mostly film.
