YG Marley made quite the impression for his debut on the main stage at Coachella over the weekend, despite having only one released song to his name, Dancehall Mag reports.

On Sunday afternoon Marley invited Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, and his famous mother Lauryn Hill to fill out his performance time.

The singer also performed unpublished original songs and covers of Bob Marley’s songs to showcase his musical heritage.

The Marley heir’s Rastafarian themed performance where digital backdrop featuring icons like Bob Marley, Haile Sellassie and others, stage props, smoke effects as well as his Rastafarian-inspired blazer and tasseled pant outfit demonstrated his cultural relevance beyond his network.

Following its independent release on December 27th Praise Jah in the Moonlight has taken the world by storm as it have reached No. 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 5 on the UK Singles chart.
