The Gaston Browne led Cabinet in Antigua and Barbuda could take a policy decision when it assembles for its weekly meeting on Wednesday, to pass a resolution, barring its members from speaking to the Observer.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Gaston Browne told Loop Caribbean that the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) administration will not have any further engagement with Observer “until such time that the policy rant of Serpent (Satan) is reversed.”

Algernon “Serpent” Watts, the Managing Director of Observer said over the weekend that he had banned the Government’s Chief of Staff Lionel Max Hurst from appearing on his radio station.

Watts, the United Progressive Party candidate for St Georges said in no uncertain terms, that Hurst misrepresented the truth whenever he appeared on Observer.

But Browne said the latest decision by Observer is a declaration of war against his ABLP members.

The Prime Minister said unless the decision is reversed, his cabinet members will boycott Observer.
