Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Ralph Gonsalves, while speaking on radio disclosed that schools will be reopened in order for students to work on their SBAs which have hands on practical components.
“The Ministry of Education is opening the schools for the SBAs, the school based assessments” The Prime Minister said.
Gonsalves said that he had consulted with the Minister of Education Hon. Curtis King, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education and the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Simone Keizer Beache to ensure that the schools will be in proper sanitary condition.
Prime Minister Gonsalves assured that all COVID-19 protocols, such as physical distancing will be in place during this period.
