$10.8 million has been allocated to St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ digital transformation project, which will see the digitization of processes such as searching for land titles and registering of deeds, clearing and importation of goods by business and much more. This was presented by the Minister of Finance the Hon. Camillo Gonsalves in the house of assembly.

“Budget 2022 allocates $10.8 million to the digital transformation project as a precursor to over $50 million in expenditure over the 2023 to 2024 period. The entire project is designed to enable digital government, digitized specific priority services, fill infrastructure gaps and place citizens at the centre of the transformation process.” The minister said.

Minister Gonsalves said that it is the intention of the government that the benefits of this digital transformation will be tangible and be felt by the average Vincentian in the ways that they do business, access information and interact with the Government.
