The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment via an official release has announced that workplace testing for both unvaccinated ad vaccinated persons as requested by employers has been suspended until further notice in the public system.

The release stated that employers with existing policies of retesting for clearance, weekly testing of vaccinated and unvaccinated employees are asked to consider the guidance of the Ministry of Health on testing requirements.

It was noted in the health ministry’s release that all flu clinics across St. Vincent and the Grenadines remain functional and will test clients according to the current protocols.

The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment in a separate release reminded the public of the approved private sector testing sites in country.

The list of approved private sector testing sites include: Arnos Vale Walk-in Clinic, AEM Diagnostic, Palm Island Resort, Bequia Beach Hotel, Caribbean Reference Lab, Sigma Laboratories, Health Solutions Inc, Integrated Medical Clinic, Advance Health and Mandarin Hotel.

The Ministry in its release asked persons COVID-19 testing for travel, employee testing and attending private events are asked to contact these private sites directly.
