National Under 20 Male 800m record holder, Handal Roban, will be representing St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the 2021 World Under 20 Championships in Nairobi, Kenya.
The games will run from today, Wednesday August 18th to Sunday August 22nd. Handal will run the 800m on the day 2 of the championships, on August 19th.
Handal recently won gold at the 2021 NACAC U18 and U23 Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica.
The 2021 World Athletics U20 Championships, also known as the World Junior Championships, are an international athletics competition for athletes qualifying as juniors.
