Barbados has reported 151 new COVID-19 positive cases from samples taken in the last nine days.
55 people recovered, bringing the number of active cases to 826.
There was one death, a 73-year-old man with co morbidities, who passed away after spending five days at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility in St Lucy. The number of deaths from COVID-19 in Barbados is now 29.
Barbados has recorded 2,608 confirmed cases, representing 1,187 women and 1,421 men. To date, 1,753 people recovered from the illness.
There were 2,119 people vaccinated on Tuesday, bringing the total via Barbados’ National Vaccination Programme to 6,683.
