St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be represented by a 5 member team to the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships, to be held in Cali, Colombia, from August 1 – 6.
The team is made up of Carifta Games silver and bronze medalists, Uroy Ryan in the Long Jump, and Amal Glasgow in the 400m.
2021 NACAC U18 100m Bronze medalist Kyle Lawrence, will run in the 100m, and Devonric Mac, who copped double gold in the 100 and 200m at the 2022 Whitsuntide Games, will take part in the 200m event. The lone female to make the trip, will be USA based Triple Jumper, Leann Nicholas, who will be donning the national colours for the first time.
