Trinidad and Tobago has recorded 17 additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing total virus-related fatalities to 817.

Their Ministry of Health in its clinical update on Sunday advised on the latest fatalities.

The fatalities recorded are: seven elderly males, seven elderly females and two middle aged males with comorbidities, as well as one elderly male without comorbidities.

The Ministry also noted that 129 additional people have tested positive for COVID-19.

Total positive cases rose to 32,198, while 7,508 of those are active.

As for vaccinations, 204,249 people have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 71,426 have received their second dose, in Trinidad and Tobago.
