Trinidad and Tobago has registered 17 new COVID-19-related deaths pushing fatalities to 425.
The persons were four elderly males, four elderly females, two middle-aged males and four middle-aged females, all with co-morbidities, as well as one elderly male and two middle-aged males without co-morbidities.
In its daily clinical update issued at around 4:30pm on Wednesday, T&T’s Ministry of Health (MoH) also disclosed that there have been 582 new infections recorded over a five day period, from May 20th to May 25th.
To date, 21,461 individuals have contracted the disease in Trinidad and Tobago.
