One man was killed and six other people are being treated at hospital in the Bahamas, following a mass shooting incident at a night club.
Caribbean Loop News quoted The Royal Bahamas Police Force as saying, that at 2 o’clock on Boxing day, a fracas broke out at the night club, which is located in western New Providence.
The incident resulted in two people being stabbed while five others were shot.
And in St Kitts/Nevis, the National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) confirmed on its social media that there was a stabbing death, also on Boxing day, during the Sugar Mas J’ouvert.
The Committee was quoted by Caribbean Loop News as saying, that the victim was stabbed in the abdomen during the street party.
The incident occurred around 10 am on Fort Street in the capital Basseterre.
The man, who remains unidentified, was taken to hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
