Deputy Chair of the National Nine Mornings Committee, Lennox Bowman, is encouraging persons to visit communities that are staging activities during the nine mornings.
The Nine Mornings festivities which are unique to St. Vincent and the Grenadines will be staged across the country from December 16 to 24.
But throughout the month of December there are also community lighting, concerts, caroling contests and other activities celebrating the Christmas season.
Addressing Sunday’s launch Mr. Bowman said the committee works year round planning activities for the Christmas season to bring Christmas to Vincentians in true Vincentian style.
Coulls Hill will start off the community lighting on December 8.
The National Parks, Beaches and Rivers Authority will light up the Botanic Gardens on December 15.
