Local law enforcement authorities acting on intelligence yesterday seized a cache of guns and ammunition during a joint operation in the Diamond area.
Among the items seized were two 12 gauge shotguns, an MK1 rifle, one .357 magnum revolver, one Glock pistol, a white mask, fifty-six rounds of 5.6 ammunitions, eight rounds of .9 Glock ammunitions, six shot gun rounds, two extended magazines and three packages of fake money.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Frankie Joseph told reporters at a press briefing this morning at the Police Conference room at the Central Police Station that five men are presently assisting police with their investigations, however, no one has yet been charged in connection with the find.
The age of the men range from 20-40.
