Two new laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from 137 samples processed on Monday May 17th, resulting in a positivity rate of 1.5%. This is according to the most recent report from NEMO’s Health Services Subcommittee.
Six new COVID-19 recoveries were also confirmed by the Health Services Subcommittee’s report, bringing the country’s total recoveries so far to 1,780.
COVID-19 related deaths stand at 12.
1,949 laboratory confirmed cases of the virus have been reported in SVG since March 2020.
