Two men in Guyana, aged 48 and 63 are the country’s latest COVID-19 related deaths. These latest deaths brings Guyana’s COVID-19 death toll to 193.
An additional 5 cases of COVID-19 were also reported, all of which came from region 4. None of Guyana’s other regions have reported any new cases. Active cases of the virus in Guyana now stand at 442.
Thirty-seven persons in Guyana remain institutionally isolated, while 387 persons are isolated at home. Eleven persons are institutionally quarantined.
Guyana’s Ministry of Health has recorded 26 new confirmed COVID-19 recoveries. There are now 7,834 recoveries reported in the country.
