Two persons died this morning in a vehicular accident that occurred in Ratho Mill.
The collision, which involved motor vehicle P7135-a Jeep, owned and driven by Oswald De Freitas of Park Hill, and passenger van H1131, owned and driven by Joel Veira of Richmond Hill, occurred shortly after 11:00 am on the Windward Highway, in the Vicinity of the Streams of Power Church.
Reports reaching WEFM News indicate that the Jeep which was traveling into Kingstown was involved in a head-on collision with the passenger van which was traveling out of Kingstown.
Several other persons are reported to be hospitalized following the accident.
Police are continuing investigations into the accident.
