A Trio has been arrested and jointly charged with two counts of Burglary and Handling Stolen Goods after allegedly making off with nearly $12,000 in stolen items from a Sandy Bay home.
According to police investigations Jefferson Shallow, Mickeroy Peters, and Shammar Baptiste, all of Sandy Bay allegedly entered the home of a resident of Sandy Bay as trespassers and stole several items valued at EC$11,921.21, the property of the Sandy Bay resident.
They were further charged with Handling Stolen Goods. According to the investigation, the Accused men allegedly knowingly or believing that the items to be stolen goods dishonestly received same for their own benefit at Sandy Bay between 10:00 on August 15th, 2021 and 6 am on August 16th 2021.
In addition, they were further charged for allegedly entering the Fundamental Bible Church of Sandy Bay as a trespasser and stole several items valued at EC$ 860.00.
They were also charged for having in their possession a quantity of items which they knowingly or believing to be stolen goods dishonestly received same for their own benefit at Noel, Sandy Bay between 3:00 pm on August 15th, 2021 and 7:20 pm August 18th, 2021.
