Several schools across the island are expected to be better equipped to respond to emergencies due to a recent donation of generators and other accessories by KOSCAB SVG Ltd to the Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation.
The donation of 8 generators, 4 gas cans and extension cords and 10 boxes of hand sanitizers were handed over to the Minister of Education Hon. Curtis King by Operations Manager Katherine Joseph.
Ms Joseph in her remarks said that KOSCAB is a committed corporate citizen of the Ministry of Education.
In receiving the donations, Minister King expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Ministry, while acknowledging the commitment of KOSCAB and reaffirming that the donation will go a long way in the schools’ disaster management.
The donation is valued at approximately EC $18,000.
