An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 rocked the islands of Martinique, St. Lucia and Dominica early today.

According to CMC News, the University of the West Indies’ Seismic Research Centre (SRC), reports that the quake that occurred at a 2:55 am, had a depth of 147 kilometers.

It was located nine kilometers northwest of Fort de France, Martinique; 69 kilometers north northwest of Castries, St. Lucia, and 78 kilometers south southeast of Roseau, Dominica.

There are no reports of damages or injuries.
