Over 50-thousand EC dollars in pledges were reportedly made yesterday, during a Radiothon involving several local Radio Stations, which came together to raise funds for the Dominica Relief Effort.
The National Emergency Management Organisation NEMO and the local Red Cross Society also provided support for the initiative.
According to NBC News, a total of 53,324 EC dollars was pledged by callers.
