One new COVID-19 death has been reported here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, taking the death toll from the virus up to 115.
The deceased is 70-year-old male with underlying conditions tested positive for COVID-19 on July 5th, 2022 and was admitted to the Isolation Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
He died on the 12th of July, 2022 of COVID-19 pneumonia. He was fully vaccinated.
Active cases of COVID-19 currently stand at 143 following the report of 32 new rapid antigen cases and 3 recoveries.
Hospitalizations decreased from 7 to 5. Of the patients admitted for COVID-19 care, 1 is fully vaccinated, and the rest are unvaccinated.
Since March of 2020 there have been 9215 cases reported here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
