Chairman of the Opposition New Democratic Party (NDP), Dr. Linton Lewis has said that his party has always been a victim of election violence.
Dr. Lewis was giving remarks at a ceremony yesterday, where he joined representatives of two other political parties here in signing a code of conduct for the December 9th General Election.
Dr. Lewis’ comments come after recent reports of a bottle attack on ULP Supporters in Petite Bordel last Friday night.
According to the report, ULP supporters were having a fun lime at a shop, when NDP supporters stormed the shop and pelted them with glass bottles.
Several persons suffered cuts and bruises.
