A national day of prayer and fasting was held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines yesterday, hosted by the country’s churches.
Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Ralph Gonsalves said the decision to have the event was made after he was approached by Pastor Andrew Clarke.
Repentance was one of the focuses of yesterday’s national day of prayer and fasting.
Appearances were made by the Prime Minister who offered a prayer of his own, as well as the opposition leader Dr. Hon. Godwin Friday who made his appearance virtually.
The event which was broadcasted live on radio and television saw various religious ministers from various denominations participating.
