The Honourable Carlos James, this country’s Minister of Tourism while appearing as a guest discussed the standard of the Ecotourism sites in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
“One of the concerns for me personally, is the standard of some of our Ecotourism sites. We’ve put in a lot of work with national parks and so on to rehabilitate and to have some of these sites up and running in terms of running water and bathrooms and so on.
We can do a lot more to enhance them and to keep them in a particular standard which can accommodate persons and guests, and I think one of the focuses going in to 2021 will be to look at the number of sites in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and how we can make them work in a better way, not just for locals who visit these sites but also tourists and guests who are travelling to St. Vincent to indulge in our country.” James said.
