The Hon. St. Clair Prince, this country’s Minister of Health, Wellness and Environment, during a recent radio interview here on WEFM, discussed vaccine hesitancy in St. Vincent and Grenadines, and the reason behind it.
“Nobody wants to take the vaccine because it is bad for us or the Government has some sinister agenda. What agenda could we have? The agenda that we have is to ensure the wellbeing of the country, the social and economic wellbeing of the country, that’s our agenda.
What do I, as Minister of Health have to gain personally from getting somebody vaccinated? What does the Prime Minister have to gain personally? Or the Government for that matter” he said.
Minister Prince speaking to those who are hesitant to take the vaccine due to their belief that the Government has some sinister agenda assured them that this was not the case.
