A delegation of approximately 20 students from Jamaica are scheduled to arrive in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on November 1st, as part of a CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) initiative by the CARICOM Secretariat dubbed “Students engaging in the CSME through Field Promotion”.

The objective of the programme is to engage the next generation in identifying career possibilities with regard to wage employment, as well as starting and maintaining a business CSME.

The project, funded by the 10th European Development Fund, is a Public Education Component of the CSME’s Economic Integration Programme, which features students across the region visiting the various members of the CSME.

The Jamaican delegation will be state from November 1st–7th, 2015.

On Sunday October 11th, a 21 member Vincentian contingent left for St. Kitts and Nevis where they took part in a one-week Mission as part of the CSME Student Exchange programme.
