Chief Executive Officer of Coreas Hazells Ltd Mr. Joel Providence, while urging Vincentians to rethink the way they approach business, suggested that it might be time for businesses in SVG to digitize.
“We have to move towards digitization of what we do, digital shopping would become a norm, we have to move away from brick and mortar enterprises, can’t be just simply saying that to go set up a business, you have to go look for two million dollars or three million dollars to set up something in Kingstown or in Arnos Vale, or in Campden Park or wherever.” Providence said.
He said that it is important that Vincentians get competitive in regards to business and find ways to reduce their fixed costs overall.
“We have to try to look for technological change where it is appropriate to do so.”
