The highly anticipated opening of Sandals St. Vincent takes place today March 27th.
According to Sandals, the opening of this resort marks a new chapter in all-inclusive travel.
Sandals Resorts International Limited states that the new resort, built on the principles of balance, discovery, nature, wellness, community, and exclusivity, will showcase the beauty of St. Vincent through carefully selected activities.
Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is located at Buccament Bay.
The 50-acre property had been conceived as a family-oriented Beaches resort back in 2020, but the project has since been repositioned under the adults-only Sandals brand.
The 301-room Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines will offer a variety of accommodation categories, including two-bedroom butler villas, which Sandals says will be the brand’s “most expansive suites to date.”
Minister of Finance Camillo Gonsalves during an earlier tour of the resort, said that upon its opening today it will have 575 locals employed, with that number set to increase to 900 over time.
