The Everton football club has signed Portuguese striker Beto for a fee reportedly worth up to £30m.

According to BBC Sport, the 25 year old has signed a four year contract at Goodison Park and becomes their fifth signing of the summer.

Beto scored 10 goals for Udinese last season and bolsters a Toffees team that has yet to find the back of the net this campaign.

Since 1892, Everton has been playing its home games at Goodison Park, the first major football stadium in England.
