Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Jerrol Thompson while speaking on WEFM’s “Wake Up” Morning program on Monday discussed the adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccines.
“When those adverse reactions take place, what it tells us as doctors is that the vaccine is working, the vaccine is really working on that man! But nine out of ten persons will not have any reaction at all, and there can be some side effects, as I mentioned, the Astra Zeneca, you have found the Pfizer sometimes can give you a very severe allergic reaction, that’s one in two million cases, and I must say this for transparency, but the amount of people who are being affected by the virus is even more serious”. Dr. Thompson said.
According to the latest COVID-19 update dashboard released by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment, a total of 38,030 vaccines have been administered, 23,127 of those being first doses and 14,903 being second doses.
