Individuals who would have already taken the COVID-19 vaccine and wish to travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines will still be required to present a negative PCR test, undergo a test upon arrival and quarantine. This is according to this country’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Simone Keizer Beache.

“The consideration would be that you will still need to come with a negative PCR test, you will still need to have a PCR test done on arrival and we will consider shortening the quarantine for seven days.

The research thus far suggests that vaccines, though they might decrease the possibility of being infected, they are decreasing completely, so you can still be carrying the virus and so you can still pose a risk to us” The CMO said.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Thursday recorded another 68 confirmed COVID-19 recoveries; bring the nation’s total recoveries to 535.
