The ceremonial opening of the First Session of the Tenth Parliament will take place this afternoon at the Assembly Chamber in Kingstown.
The ceremony is expected to begin at 4:00pm and will feature the swearing-in of Members of Parliament, as well as the election of a Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
The ceremonial opening of Parliament follows the swearing-in of an eleven member Cabinet on December 14th.
