The Caribbean Association of Pharmacists (CAP) is hosting its annual End of Year Summit in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from today November 3 to Sunday November 5, under the theme “Pharmacy Practice Evolving, Embracing Patient Care”.

Pharmacy professionals and pharmacy industry stakeholders from St. Vincent and the Grenadines and across the Caribbean are gathered at the Beachcombers Hotel to advance the development and empowerment of the people of the Caribbean through excellence in the provision of all aspects of pharmacy practice.

The Caribbean Association of Pharmacists along with national pharmacy bodies like the, St. Vincent and the Grenadines Pharmaceutical Association Inc, (SVGPA Inc) works to expand and keep up-to-date their members’ knowledge-base in pharmacy practice.

The weekends’ activities are expected to foster camaraderie with colleagues across the region and to highlight the ever evolving nature of pharmacy practice and the expanding patient care roles.

The aim is to encourage more pharmacists to carry out pharmacy practice research and become more proactive within the health care community to better serve patients.
