The collection of Bank Cards for BRAGSA’S Road Cleaning Collection continues with effect from today (January 5) and tomorrow (January 6), facilitated by the Economic Planning Division.

Workers who participated in the Road Cleaning Program under the Volcanic Eruption Emergency (VEEP) Project, that ran from November 28th to December 7. 2022, and have not yet received their bank cards (payment) are expected to collect their monies on the aforementioned days from 9: 30 am to 3:30 pm.

Additionally, VEEP is appealing to workers who have not yet collected their bank cards from previous road cleaning sessions, to do so.

The Road Cleaning Program (also known as the Labour-Intensive Temporary Employment (LITE Programme) is a sub-component of the Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project – which is financed by the World Bank and co-financed by the European Union-Funded Caribbean Resilience, Building Facility.

The Implementing Agency for VEEP is the Economic Planning Division, which operates under the remit of the Ministry of Finance, Information and Technology.
