Active cases of COVID-19 soared past 400 over the weekend with the recording of 39 new laboratory confirmed cases of the virus in the last COVID-19 report.
The last 39 cases of COVID-19 were recorded from 389 samples that were processed on Saturday September 18th, resulting in a positivity rate of 10.0%.
According to the information provided in the Health Services Subcommittee’s report, 6 more confirmed COVID-19 recoveries were reported, which brings SVG’s COVID-19 recovery total to 2,341.
A total of 2,830 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in country since March of last year.
There are currently 16 patients admitted to the Argyle Isolation Facility for COVID-19.
Vaccination numbers according to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment’s latest COVID-19 update dashboard, stand at 13,004 people fully vaccinated.
