Active cases of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines are now down to 214, following the recovery of 47 individuals from the virus.
The latest COVID-19 update from the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment confirmed the report of 1 new PCR COVID-19 cases as well as 9 new rapid antigen cases.
COVID-19 hospitalizations remain at 12. Of the 12 patients admitted for care at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital’s COVID-19 ward all are unvaccinated. One patient is under the age of 18.
SVG’s COVID-19 death toll remains at 99. Of the 99 reported deaths, 3 of the deceased were fully vaccinated, 1 was partially vaccinated and 95 were unvaccinated.
A total of 6709 PCR COVID-19 cases have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March of 2020.
