St. Vincent and the Grenadines has recorded its 95th COVID-19 death. The deceased is a 77 year old unvaccinated male who tested positive for COVID-19 on February 1st. He was admitted to the Port Elizabeth Hospital. He later died on February 1st of COVID-19 pneumonia.

According to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment’s COVID-19 update, of the 95 COVID-19 deaths reported in country, 92 were unvaccinated, 1 was partially vaccinated and 2 were fully vaccinated.

2 new PCR COVID-19 cases, 79 new rapid antigen cases and 18 new COVID-19 recoveries were also confirmed by the ministry’s update.

Active cases of COVID-19 in country now stand 803.

COVID-19 Hospitalizations remain unchanged at 17; 4 being fully vaccinated, 2 being partially vaccinated and 11 being unvaccinated.

6690 PCR COVID-19 cases have been record in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March of 2020.

A total of 64,768 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in country, 34,424 of those being first doses, 27,872 being second doses and 2472 bring boosters.
