There are currently 36 patients admitted for COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. 3 of those patients are admitted for care at the Argyle Isolation Facility, while the other 33 are admitted for care at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital’s COVID-19 ward.
31 of the 36 admitted patients are unvaccinated, one patient is partially and one other patient is fully vaccinated.
According to the Health Services Subcommittee 57 new COVID-19 positive cases were recorded from 406 samples collected on Wednesday October 20th.
Active cases of COVID-19 in country now stand at 1,756.
No new recoveries were noted over the reporting period. 56 persons with COVID-19 have died. 4,786 cases of COVID-19 and 2974 recoveries have been recorded in St. Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.
