The Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the 2018 fiscal year is scheduled to be outlined in Parliament on Monday January 29, 2018.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves made the announcement at a Press conference at Cabinet Room this morning.
He noted that according to the Constitution of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Estimates must be laid before the end of the first month of the year, or 31 days within the commencement of the budgetary year.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister said that the 2018 National Budget will be presented on Monday February 5, 2018.
The Budget presentation will be done by Minister of Finance Camillio Gonsalves.
It will be preceded by the Throne Speech from Governor General Sir Frederick Ballantyne.
