Acting Commissioner of Police, Reynold Hadaway proceeds on pre-retirement leave as of today January 2nd, 2018.
Hadaway has taken up duties as Commissioner of Police on August 1, 2016, succeeding former Police Commissioner Michael Charles.
He will be succeeded by Colin John, the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police.
John joined the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadine Police Force in 1988. He worked ‘Beat on patrol’, Honour Guard, Immigration, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and at several outstations.
He was appointed Deputy Police Commissioner in August 2016.
Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves today thanked Commissioner Hadaway for his service to the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force and the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
