The World Pediatric Project (WPP) in collaboration with the Mustique Charitable Trust has raised 600,000 US dollars to install special equipment in one of the operating theaters at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

This revelation was made by Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, Hon. Luke Browne during his contribution to the debate on the 2016 Budget in parliament this morning.

Minister Browne said the WPP is a vital partner in the provision of health care particularly the provision of quality health care to the children of this country.

The Minister of Health noted that the WPP which has had a presence in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 14 years has completed over 600 surgeries at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and over 5,000 evaluations.
