St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) will be forgiving the charges on electricity consumed for the period of March to May by customers from Belle Isle to Richmond, as well as those north of Mount Young.

“In April we suspended bills for some customers in the north of the island and that was in response to the eruption of the La Soufriere volcano. The billing process resumed in for those customers in May, however; in light of challenges faced by persons in those communities and the ingoing activity, VINLEC is advising that the company will forgive the charges for electricity consumed for customers from Belle Isle to Richmond, and from those north of Mt. Young and that’s for the billing period March to May, 2021.” VINLEC’s Communications Officer said.
