Chief Executive Officer of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority Mr. Glen Beache, during a radio interview earlier this week, provided an update on the current progress of SVG’s Cruise Ship season.

“We’ve had two calls so far, they’ve gone pretty well, everything being considered with the pandemic and making sure that everybody’s kept in a bubble as such. You know the saying “take time kill ants you go find the belly”; it’s a work in progress, I think all countries and all cruise lines are trying to look at what is best and how best to get back to some sort of normalcy within the cruise ship industry.

So they’ve been operating in a bubble, just like they’ve been doing in Jamaica, Barbados and these other places.” He said.

The Tourism Authority CEO said things had been good so far, but it is his hope that things return to normal in near future.
