The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Conservation Fund is (SVGCF) is calling on Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) such as schools, churches and other non profit organizations to take advantage of grants provided by Inter-American Foundation (IAF).

Project Manager at the SVGCF Ms. Alanda Moses, during a call to WEFM’s Wake Up Morning Show earlier today discussed the amount of funding that will be available to organizations as well as which organizations qualify.

“So right now we have our call for participation that is funded by a grant from the Inter-American Foundations and that project would basically give CSOs the opportunity to get training and capacity building to help them in their project management, to better conceptualize and manage projects that would build their livelihoods, protect the environment, projects in agricultural sustainability and those sort of stuff.” She said.

Ms Moses said that the average funding that will be available to CSOs will range from USD $8000 to a maximum of USD $15000.
